Times Square: Framing of photos

I was traveling to Times Square and wanted to take as many pictures as I can. The purpose was to get different pictures of the area in different areas. There tare five frames that I focused on: extreme close up, close up, mid shot, mid long shot, and an extremely long shot. It was specifically harder to do the longer shots since Times Square is a very cluttered and small area. So, I tried to go further from Times Square for longer shots of the area.

The extreme close up of the Statue of Liberty figure is my favorite because of how nice the statue looks. The background lighting also helped, as it gave it a certain type of effect. For the close up, I took a picture of the street sign, to show the street name of the area. I wish the quality could’ve been a little better. However, the rain and snow was playing a role in making that picture look like that.

For the medium shots, I took pictures of both the Coca-Cola sign and the statue underneath the sign to show the epicenter of Times Square. Specifically the Coca-Cola sign, I wanted to make that picture stand out on its own. So I had to stand on some bleachers in order to take the picture. As previously stated, it was harder to take long shots of Times Square, so I tried my best taking farther shots of Times Square. I made it look like as if a person was walking closer to the area, while also getting a better view of their main objective. What made those pictures pop was the weather because it snowed, and it fit with the cold New York climate.
